About the Young Hackney centres

As part of the Government's myplace programme, Hackney Council is building a brand new flagship youth centre in the heart of Hackney (Forest Road), which will link to four 'spoke' youth centres - one in each of the borough's neighbourhoods.

Young Hackney Stoke Newington was the first of the five new centres to be built. It was officially launched in October 2010.

The Forest Road Centre will be a brand new facility on the site of the old Forest Road Youth Club.
