Hackney is a diverse and brilliant borough. It is divided into four neighbourhoods:
- Homerton
- Stoke Newington
- Shoreditch
- North East
Each of these neighbourhoods has it own Area Youth Forum. Each Forum is made up of about 15 young people who meet weekly.
Youth Forums represent the voice of young people in their area
We do this by going out in the community and researching young people’s needs as well as organising youth events, films projects and other innovative projects. We also undertake accredited training and go on weekend residential trips outside London. Well, we have to have a little fun too, you know!
How do I join?
