The Youth Service recently launched the Youth Provider Networks (YPNs). YPNs have been developed to give organisations, projects and services in Hackney the best chance to influence decisions made regarding Youth Service's in the Borough.

YPNs are locally held meetings in each of the four neighbourhoods within Hackney; Stoke Newington, Shoreditch, Homerton and the North East. Issues affecting young people form the agenda and they exist to influence policy and decision making.

Their strength is that they consist of local organisations and young people coming together to discuss issues affecting their local area. In drawing together organisations from the public and voluntary/commissioned sectors the YPNs aim to create a coordinated approach to local decision making, making the most of the skills that exist within the Borough.
