Be part of a vibrant web community and have your say on what’s happening in Hackney by adding info about your youth club, college, or other organisation. It's easy, and you can publicise any event you like. Add your organisation here or post your event here. You can also upload photos and video content to your organisation’s profile page, or email them to us @ youth@pointblanklondon.com and we will upload them for you!

If you don't run an organisation but regularly take part in their activities then why not become a member of their profile? Again this is really easy to do: just find the organisation profile from the directory, then head to their member list and click on "APPLY FOR MEMBERSHIP". Once you have become a member you are then able to add your own pictures, video and audio files to their profile.

Contribute to this website by becoming a writer. Articles can be uploaded to the

site by clicking on POST AN ARTICLE and can be about anything that

inspires you, for example music, fashion, film, or what’s happening in your neighbourhood.

Create and mix a funky tune on the Remix Machine which can be uploaded to the site or downloaded to your phone. Think you know a good tune when you hear it…?  You can also listen to and rate other people’s mixes.

If you need help with any of the above or would just like to learn more about creating web pages,  we can arrange for a professional web design tutor to come to your youth group to show you how.

Free Music and Media Courses!

As part of this project we are also giving away FREE accredited media courses during school holidays. If you get involved you can choose from Web Marketing, Radio Broadcasting, Music Production, DJing, Film Production, Street Dance, Graffiti Art, Singing & Songwriting and many more.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get industry professionals to train you - you never know where this could lead!!

Work Experience Opportunities

Get the chance to spend time working in the busy Point Blank offices, which will look great on your CV!  Placements are from 1 week up to 1 month and will involve:

Web: assisting with Young Hackney website and design project, learning site  editing, maintenance and information / content updating. 

Marketing Work: promoting the website as part of a Street Team distributing flyers and info.

Music: an opportunity to work as an assistant in Point Blank’s state-of-art studio facilities and the chance to sit in on some of the award-winning music production classes that we offer.

Lunch and travel will be paid.
