2moro? Project

posted by: Administrator

Turn your life around

Immediate Theatre and The Prince’s Trust are looking for motivated young people aged 16-24, who have had contact with the criminal justice system, to get involved in a training and careers programme. You will work with young people either through drama or sports to help them tackle the difficult issues they face and help them to turn their lives around.

So what’s involved?

‘2moro?’ starts with a five-day Access course at The Prince’s Trust followed by five days of Facilitation Training, run by Immediate Theatre and the Fairbridge programme.

  • Drama Access Course 27 Feb – 2 March
  • Sports Access Course 19 – 23 March

Training to become a peer facilitator

The Access course will provide an introduction to The Prince’s Trust Fairbridge programme, building trust and commitment through exciting activities such as rock-climbing and abseiling. The Facilitation Training will introduce the basics of running workshops and the implications of being a Peer Facilitator. Once you complete the training you can interview for the role of either a Drama or Sports Peer Facilitator.

Success means:

  • A year of PT paid work experience with Immediate Theatre/Prince’s Trust
  • Further training in running drama or sports sessions
  • The opportunity to complete a BTEC Level 2 Award in Peer Education
