Big Weekend of Festivals
Two festivals for the price of er... none this weekend. Take your pick from the Carnival parade, Wilton Way street party or the Narrow Way games-fest - all part of the We Love Hackney weekend, or go East to Wick and enjoy the floating forest, open mic, climbing wall. It's all free, so it's a bargain!
Carnival Parade is on Sunday. It starts at 12 noon and will run from Ridley Road Market, up Stoke Newington High Street and along Church Street.
On Saturday 17 there will be events across Hackney, including:
- Pop-up festival in St John at Hackney Churchyard
- juggling and board games on the Narrow Way
- The Robert Levy foundation performance of 'Trust' at the Hackney Empire

The Wick Festival features great music, dance, theatre, art, food and much more. Events are taking place across the Wick, but if you take the train and get out at White Post Lane, you'll be right.
