New Music Mentoring Opportunities

posted by: Kris Turvey

Youth Music Mentors is a national programme from Youth Music to help young musicians. RollingSound are running a mentoring scheme for Hackney young people, based at Frampton Park Youth Club, Frampton Park Road, E9 7PF every Monday in Sept - Nov 09 from 2-6pm.

You can benefit from one-to-one support from a trained mentor who is also a working musician. They will give you help with setting and keeping to goals to help develop you as a musician. As well as this you will be able to work on your music production skills.

After successfully completing 10 weeks of the mentoring programme, you can apply to become a Peer Mentor, sharing your skills with other young people. Young people who successfully complete the Peer Mentoring programme will be able to then work with RollingSound as music production teaching assistants.

For more information, please contact Kris Turvey on 020 3006 5893 or email krist@rollingsound.co.uk or just come along to Frampton Park Youth Club on Mondays.
