Interested in photography? You should have a crack at the annual Photomonth Youth Photography Award. This year the theme is CHANGE – and there’s plenty of that happening in Hackney. Olympics maybe? Fashion – tastes in music and in clothes? New buildings put up, old buildings torn down? The environment? Or what about changes that happen as you grow older? What does change signify to you and how are you affected by it?

The competition is open to young people age 11 – 19.
Five finalists will be selected and exhibited during Photomonth East London in November 2011 and the public will be invited to vote for the winner.
All five finalists will get a free day’s tuition from a top photographer at the World Photography Festival, and one overall winner will also attend the Sony World Photography Awards ceremony.
