See the Amazing Result of the Skyway Street Art Workshop

posted by: Administrator

You may remember a recent news story in which we invited you to join in with the street art workshop organised by the youth charity SkyWay. The idea was to paint a mural on the outside of Stoke Newington resident, Martha Silcott's home. Martha had been impressed with SkyWay street art programmes where young people have restored previously derelict spaces in their community with original pieces of art work.

Between the 1st and 5th December young people of Hackney and experienced street artists came together and worked very hard to paint the entire 15m high and 10m wide wall. As I'm sure you will agree from the pictures below, the results are very impressive and they have certainly acheived their objective of injecting a bit of colour and life to the area.

Congratulations to everyone who was involved.
