Street Heritage Premiere

Fashion belongs to London 

Join Chocolate Films, The London Metropolitan Archive and the Young Roots Street Crew for an afternoon of film screenings and film-making.

  •  Saturday 16 April 12.30pm – 4pm
  • Livery Hall, Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2 

For 5 months the Street Heritage Youth Crew explored the collections of the LMA and made two documentaries about London’s fashion and political heritage. 

  • Industrial youth exploring poverty, escape, hardship and joy, London life seen through the eyes of children from Victorian times through to the 21st Century.
  • The Rise and Fall of London’s Fashion Hubs from Carnaby St to Shoreditch, London has always been at the cutting edge – this film takes a light-hearted look at our fashionable heritage.
