There are some great apprenticeships available right now to anyone not in training, education or employment:

• Jamie Oliver's world-famous restaurant Fifteen is taking on eighteen new apprentices who want to learn the ropes, learn how to operate in a professional kitchen and become part of the Fifteen team.
• If fashion is your thing, you can learn the basics of retail by taking part in training offered by the online firm ASOS. 
• British Gas is also offering apprenticeships in information systems for school leavers with limited IT experience. Their two-year programme leads to a level three advanced apprenticeship and a Duke of Edinburgh's Gold Award.
