Results in for the latest Young Hackney Poll

posted by: Administrator

The results are in for the latest Young Hackney poll...

We asked you:

Will the rise in tuition fees put you off going to college/uni?

A whopping 81% of you said yes compared to 19% who said no.

Considering the recent protests across the country, many of which have turned ugly, this result hardly comes as much of a surprise. Young people are certainly not happy.

Today, commons are preparing to vote on the matter of tuition fees – a vote that is likely to split the Lib Dems, and perhaps damage the coalition. If the government manage to stand firm with their decision, this atmosphere of unrest in society could be set to continue for a long time to come.

In our next poll, with the festive season well and truly upon us we ask you…

With the adverts appearing earlier and earlier each year, do you think Christmas is getting too commercial?

To vote all you have to do is tick your answer in the survey section on the right hand side of the screen and click vote. Simple!

Young people aged 16 could have their say in the Scottish referendum - is it time to lower the voting age in the UK?
