Boroughs United Annual Event is a talent show that brings together young people from different boroughs helping break down the barriers between neighbourhoods. A celebration of singing, dancing and rapping/MC, the show is performed by young people aged 5 to 21. See Ebonessence performing at the 2009 show:
Next year’s Showcase and awards will take place at the Hackney Empire Theatre on 30 January 2011.
There will also be road show events at Rich Mix (Tower Hamlets), Greenwich Theatre (Greenwich & Docklands) and the Offset Centre (Waltham Forest) in 15, 16, 22 and 23 January 2011.
You can be a performer!
The performance programme is open for non-professional, individual and group performers, aged between 9 and 25 years, performing: singing, dance, comedy, rap, poetry and spoken word.
