20 questions to help change Hackney

posted by: Administrator

Tell us what you think of youth activities in Hackney

Fill in the Hackney Young People's Survey and tell us what you think about activities and services for young people in the borough.

The survey only takes two minutes, and, if you enter the prize draw you'll stand the chance of winning £30 in Love to Shop vouchers.

About the survey

The survey is being conducted by Hackney Youth Parliament in partnership with Young Hackney. Through the survey, you can tell us what you think is good about youth clubs and youth activities; and also what isn't so good. Young Hackney and the Youth Parliament will then use what you tell us to improve services for young people in the borough.

Where will the survey results published?

The results will be made available through the Council’s consultation web pages, and on the young hackney site. We'll also tell you what has happened over the past year to improve services, and what we intend to do about changing things you say need changing.

For example, last year, young people said they would like better IT facilities in youth clubs. There's already been a big improvement on this front in Stoke Newington, with the opening of Young Hackney Stoke Newington's IT suite. In 2012, there will be four more new Young Hackney centres, each of which will be fitted out with a state-of-the-art media suite.

So: tell us what you think, tell us honestly, and most importantly, write in your suggestions and ideas about how youth provision could be improved.

Responses are entirely confidential, and will only be used  to assess youth provision in Hackney.
