Campaign to end Child Poverty

posted by: Administrator

Make them keep their promise!

The British Youth Council and the Child Poverty Action Group is asking young people from across the UK to get involved in a letter-writing campaign to help end child poverty.

They are asking young people to write to their MP to demand that Parliament keeps its promise to end child poverty by 2020.

Back in 2010 all three main parties voted together in Parliament to make eliminating child poverty by 2020 a statutory duty, but the latest research has predicted half a million more children will fall into poverty within the next three years.
