Tickets for R1 Hackney Weekend!

If you haven’t already, get on the BBC site and register for the Hackney Weekend!

There are over 50,000 tickets available to Hackney residents. Tickets are free, but there will be a handling fee of £2.50 per ticket. 

Only those aged 16 or over by 23 June 2012 will be able to register themselves. If you will be 15 or under at the time of the event you will need to be registered by someone who is 18 or over and who has already registered themselves. You will also need to be accompanied to the event by someone who is 18 or over.

To apply, you first need to register your details online and upload a photo on the BBC site before 11.00pm on Monday 19 March. Only one registration per person will be accepted. If you are planning to go with a friend, make sure that they also register before 11pm on 19 March.

If you have registered your details you will then be able to apply for a ticket online or by phone - 25,000 tickets for Saturday and 25,000 tickets for Sunday will be available at 11am on Sunday 25 March and a further 25,000 tickets for each day at 4pm on Monday 26 March. If you get tickets on 25 March, you won’t be able to get any more tickets on the following day.
