Theo Walcott in Hackney appeal

Theo Walcott in Centrepoint appealArsenal star Theo Walcott is calling on young people in Hackney to help raise money for Centrepoint.

'Be a Gunner, Be a Runner’ involves a sponsored 10-lap around the Emirates stadium, and will take place on Saturday March 19.  All money raised will go to the charity, which supports homeless people in London.

Launching the event, Walcott met up with Abdi Razk, a young person who had been supported by Centrepoint (picture above, centre).

All participants must be aged 15 or over and raise at least £100 in sponsorship and pay £15 registration fee.
