What does freedom mean to you?

Over the past year, Hackney’s diverse community’s have created a thought-provoking exhibition focusing on varying interpretations of freedom through film, audio, photography, painting and writing. The exhibition kick-starts ‘STOP AND TALK’ a nationwide campaign that calls for better and fairer relationships between the police and young people.
The exhibition showcases a communities response to the riots, stop and search laws, and ultimately freedom. The work on show is the result of creative collaborations between established photographers and groups of young people. Also featuring work from youth providers themselves and individual local young people who work with the organisations involved.
