Mouth That Roars (MTR) is a charitable and not for profit company which was set up with the sole purpose of training young people in video production.
MTR runs free film-making workshops for young people who live in Hackney age 13-19 years. Their current projects include the Hackney Media Academy, where young people can learn basic film-making and editing skills. Their workshops run on Saturdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and they can even offer free film screening workshops at your community centre.
MTR also runs the Hackney Impact Arts Academy in partnership with Eastside Educational Trust and Rising Tide, which is supported by Hackney Children's Services to provide Hackney Young People aged between 13-19 years some exciting opportunites over the next two years.
