Newington Dance Space is setting up an exciting new Youth dance group for 13-19 year olds and is looking for new dancers to get involved. Different classes will be available for contemporary, ballet, jazz and street dance so everybody is welcome. You will be given the opportunity to perform, giving you the chance to build confidence and gain experience. The different groups will form a collaboration of dancers called Newington Youth Dance who will come together to perform. This gives you an insight into other types of dance and gives you an opportunity to vary and develop your dance technique. We are creating a new timetable for the new term which will give new students a great opportunity to join the dance group.  No experience is required as all our members are beginners so anyone is able to come along.

You can apply either for STREET DANCE or CONTEMPORARY dance section; see rules bellow:

STREET DANCE SECTION
Fridays: 5:50-6:50 Street Dance
Sundays 5-6:30 Street Dance (from January 2011)

One class a week is compulsory. Price £5 per class/ £8 for 2 classes

CONTEMPORARY/MODERN DANCE SECTION
Tuesdays:  5:15-6:45 contemporary/ jazz  (from January 2011)

Fridays 7-8:30pm Contemporary Dance/ Ballet

Saturdays: 10-11:30am contemporary/jazz/ repertoire

Sundays 6:30-8pm Jazz/ Modern

2 classes a week are compulsory/ £8 per week/ £8 for any classes of your choice; you can do 2-4 classes per week.
