Discover Young Hackney rolls on with Design and Shine and Dance or Diva?
The Laburnum Boat Club is a community-based boating project by the Regents Canal in Haggerston. It is essentially a water-based youth club, providing a range of activities for Hackney children and young people throughout the year – with a particular emphasis on kids with disabilities.

Open Youth Club
Tuesdays: 5 - 7pm
Wednesdays: 5 - 7pm
Saturdays: 11am - 4pm
Saturdays at Kings Hall Swimming Pool: 4 - 5pm.
Please note: names must be enrolled during Saturday club sessions for attendance at the pool session.
Note: Members must wear a bouyancy aid when participating in canoeing activites and should bring a complete change of clothes, including spare shoes and a towel.
Holiday project
Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm during Hackney schools holidays.
Day Trips including:
Festivals
White Water centres
Games
Rock Climbing
Museums
Trips Away
Include:
Wild water kayaking - River Dart
Sea kayaking
Multi activity trip - Bude
Wild water kayaking - Scotland.

Family Project - Children must be accompanied by an adult and adults must be accompanied by a child.
Sundays, 10am - 1pm: Canoeing and kayaking.
Sundays, 2pm - 5pm: Short Narrowboat trips for family groups.

Inclusion
Sessions for young people from Hackney with a disability
Monday sports club - 4.30 - 7pm for 14 - 19 year olds.
Thursday sports club, 4.30 - 7pm for 9 - 13 year olds.
Activities this year include swimming, football, basketball and powerboating.
Spaces are still available in both of these clubs.
Friday Group - 1.00pm - 3.00pm (during schools term-time only)
Canoeing and narrowboating sessions for adults with mental health issues.
Cost: Free!

Youth Watersports Training Project
For 16 - 24 year olds NOT in full time employment, who want to become watersports instructors.....£FREE!
