Easter holidays 2023

Young Hackney’s FREE Easter programme will run from Monday 3 April to Friday 14 April for young people aged 6 – 19 (up to 25 with a special educational need and/or disability [SEND]).

Packed full of exciting and varied activities, including arts and crafts, multi-sports and games sessions, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Hubs and adventure playgrounds will be closed during weekends and Bank Holidays on Good Friday & Easter Monday.

We will also be providing food support to young people eligible for free school meals as part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme. Find out more about HAF here.

Please note, there is a limit of 60 people per session daily.


Eastway, Young Hackney’s multi-use youth sports facility, will be running daily open access multi-sports sessions during the Easter period.

Young Hackney’s adventure playgrounds, Shoreditch and Hackney Marsh, are also open for fun and exciting play activities for young people aged 6 – 15 (18 with SEND), Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm (closed Good Friday and Easter Monday).

All young people are required to have a Young Hackney membership to attend sessions.

If you are currently not a member of Young Hackney, please print and complete the membership form. If you have submitted a membership form in the past, this does not need to be submitted again.

Once you have completed the membership form, please register your interest for the Easter programme.
