Thank you for your interest in our appeal to provide free school packs to young people who are starting secondary school this September. These packs will help families affected by the cost of living crisis provide young people with a positive start on their first days at their new schools, so we really appreciate any items you can donate!

Items to donate:

People can choose which equipment they wish to donate depending on what they can afford. All purchased items will be compiled into packs. 

Each pack will contain brand new essential items:

• Rucksack (black only)
• Set of pens (black, red and green)
• Scientific calculator 
• Geometry set
• Pencil case

If you want to donate more items than those listed above, Hackney Youth Parliament has identified a number of desirable items that would be useful for students to start the school year with, but aren’t necessarily essential. Essential items are key for packs, so please prioritise those items.

If you want to donate more items than those listed above, here are some desirable items:

• Water Bottles
• A4 wallets
• Highlighters
• Pencils 
• Sharpeners
• Rubber

Please buy only BRAND NEW equipment.

How to donate items:

You can purchase all the items directly from our Amazon Wishlist here. Simply order your preferred items directly from the wishlist and items will be automatically delivered to Forest Road Youth Hub. If you are ordering items elsewhere online, please remember to set the delivery address to Forest Road Youth Hub (see below). Don’t forget to fill out our Google Form once your order is complete!
