Summer Term Programmes

Three girls rollerskating

Our summer term programmes have arrived! See what’s on at our hubs for young people aged 10 – 19 (25 with SEND), or our adventure playgrounds for 6-15 year olds (18 with SEND) starting from Monday 13 April.

We’ve planned exciting and varied programmes of activities, events and opportunities, which include arts and crafts, multi-sports and games sessions.

Forest Road Youth Hub – 29 Forest Road, Dalston, E8 3BY
020 8356 2200

  • Juniors (10 – 13 years): Monday to Friday 3.30pm – 5.30pm
  • Seniors (13 – 19 years, up to 25 with SEND): Monday to Friday 3.30pm – 8.30pm*

The Edge Youth Hub – 7 Woodberry Grove, Woodberry Down, N4 1SN
020 8356 1063

  • The Edge will be temporarily closed from Monday 20 April until Wednesday 29 April, as we are undergoing building works to create a new and improved space at the hub. There are alternative activities for young people while these works take place. Read more about that here.
  • We’ll have our full programmes ready soon, so you can see what’s coming up from Thursday 30 April!

Young Carers – Forest Road Youth Hub, E8 3BY & The Edge Youth Hub, N4 1SN

Many young people don’t see themselves as young carers. However, if you are looking after someone with a disability, long-term physical illness, mental health condition, or drug and alcohol problems, then we can help.

Visit one of our young carer groups:

  • Forest Road Youth Hub, E8 3BY:
    • Wednesdays from 4-6pm – Homework space
    • Wednesdays from 6-8pm – Cooking activities, plus more.
  • The Edge Youth Hub, N4 1SN:
    • Tuesdays from 3.10-5.30pm – Activities, games, and more!

All young people are required to have a Young Hackney membership to attend sessions. If you have submitted a membership form in the past, this does not need to be submitted again.

If you are currently not a member of Young Hackney, please print and complete the membership form and hand the completed form into your preferred Youth Hub or Adventure Playground.

Alternatively, please fill out the form and email it to one of the following people:
