Ambassadors meet Prof Green

2012 Ambassadors went along to the Hackney Weekend launch + sent these updates to young hackney...

"Monday the 23rd of May is a day I will never forget. Oh my gosh! Just wanna say thanks to BBC Radio 1 and 1 Xtra for hosting such an event. Leona Lewis, Labyrnth, Professor Green, True Tiger and Maverick Sabre all in the same day. I've never been a part of anything as huge as that. And to top it off, Hackney will be hosting next year's BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend. 80 amazing acts right in our hometown. I'm absolutely ecstatic!

I just hope I can play a big part in that event too. I would really love to see Adele and Jessie J as their voices are just awesome. Ohh and Ellie Goulding. Love her!"

"The trip was amazing, very fun. And to hear the news about the BBC Radio one show being in East London, it is going to be great, a great thing for Hackney.

It was a really gd trip from seeing leona lewis perform, meeting trevor nelson, labrynth, maveric and pro green to going inside the olympic stadium (when it is so developed). The building look amazing and the trip was great, really fun."
