Alternative 2 the Alternative Vote

posted by: Administrator

Alternative vote or 1st past the post?

If you're under 18, you may have an opinion, but you won't have the option of deciding which voting system you’ll eventually use to vote. However you CAN join other young Londoners in discussing how you can change politics in the capital.

Parliament’s outreach team, the London Assembly and DareLondon have teamed up to give you the chance to find out how Democracy works in the capital and how you can get involved in London-wide and local politics.

  • Join in the debate ‘Is the 2012 Games going to be good for London?’
  • Take part in quizzes and activities.
  • Meet London Assembly members.

The sessions are free on a first-come, first-served basis.

The event takes place Wednesday 1st June 2011, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA 1.30pm-5.00pm.

Book early by emailing Arnaud Bertieux: arnaud.bertieux@gmail.com
