Hackney Museum was created in order to collect, preserve and interpret evidence regarding the history of Hackney and the worldwide roots of its people. It’s based in a new building which enables the exhibitions to be interactive through computers and touch screens. It runs a special events programme throughout the year and most of them are free, suitable for all ages and on a drop-in basis.
