Get support from across the borough

While our youth hubs and adventure playgrounds are always here to help, if they are closed at any point in the year, such as during Christmas or bank holidays, you can always reach out to the following services if you are worried about anything.
- Kooth.com – Online mental health support for anyone aged 11-19 (up to 25 with a special educational need and/or disability [SEND]). Open until 31 December 2025.
- NHS Crisis Line (City & Hackney) 0800 073 0006 – Free urgent mental health support for young people from trained NHS mental health advisors. Open 24 hours a day.
- Childline 0800 1111 – You can contact Childline about anything. Whatever your worry, it’s better out than in. Open 24 hours a day.
- Crisis Textlines Text SHOUT, YM or THEMIX to 85258 – Free text support for under 25s across the UK experiencing a mental health crisis. Open 24 hours a day.
- Nacoa 0800 358 3456 or helpline@nacoa.org.uk – Helpline to talk about worries or issues around parental alcoholism or a similar addictive problem. Open 12pm to 6pm 24th, 25th, 29th, 30th and 31st December, and 10am to 7pm every other day.
- Mobilise info@mobiliseonline.co.uk – Mobilise are available to support unpaid carers, including support calls with their Carer Support team, and access to their supportive community for carers.
- Samaritans Text 116 123 or jo@samaritans.org – A safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way. Open 24 hours a day.
