Summer holidays 2025

Three people in a kitchen making food at a youth hub

Our youth hub’s summer holiday programmes for young people aged 10 – 19 (25 with SEND), will take place over five weeks from 21 July to 22 August.

We’ve planned exciting and varied programmes of activities, events and opportunities, which include arts and crafts, multi-sports and games sessions.

If you want even more activities, check out our Summer Activities Guide, which is packed with free activities for young people aged up to 19 (25 with SEND) in Hackney this summer.

Young Carers – Forest Road Youth Hub, E8 3BY

Many young people don’t see themselves as young carers. However, if you are looking after someone with a disability, long-term physical illness, mental health condition, or drug and alcohol problems, then we can help. View the summer holiday programme here, or contact yh.youngcarers@hackney.gov.uk  to learn more.

All young people are required to have a Young Hackney membership to attend sessions.

If you are currently not a member of Young Hackney, please print and complete the membership form. If you have submitted a membership form in the past, this does not need to be submitted again.

Once you have completed the membership form, please register your interest for the summer holiday programme.

You can do this in two ways:

  • If you are interested in attending sessions at Forest Road or The Edge, please fill out the online form here: Summer Holiday Activities Consent Form
  • For all other Young Hackney facilities, please print and complete the consent form and hand any completed forms into your preferred hub or adventure playground.

Young Hackney’s adventure playgrounds, Shoreditch and Hackney Marsh, are open for fun and exciting play activities for young people aged 6 – 15 (18 with SEND), Monday to Friday 10am — 5pm.
