Safety Matters Week: Learn real life skills that keep you safe

Safety matters – but what does being “safe” mean?
It’s about knowing what to do if someone collapses in front of you, being able to look after a friend who’s had too much to drink, or spotting red flags in a relationship before things escalate.
Safety Matters Week is a week full of interactive workshops, where you can learn practical skills and life hacks, so that you know what to do if you are ever in a tricky situation. This week will take place over half term, between Monday 16 February and Friday 20 February.
The week is brought to you by Hackney Council’s Community Safety Team and Hackney Youth Parliament.
