Hackney Youth Parliament: Life After Covid

We are excited to invite you to the first debate held by Hackney Youth Parliament by our Life after Covid Forum in the Council Chamber!

Do YOU want to make positive changes for young people in Hackney? Are you a young person aged 14-19 (up to 25 with SEND) who is passionate about having your voice heard who lives, works or goes to school in Hackney?

Do you have something to say about the support offered to young people throughout the pandemic? Or are you simply interested in debating, politics and listening to young people express their views?

If so, then this is the event for you! Hosted by young people for young people in the beautiful Council Chamber at Hackney Town Hall, the debate will focus on the impact of Covid on young people, the vaccine, mental health, education and how the pandemic affected the lives of young people in Hackney.

You can expect to see some local politicians and professionals from education, children’s services and public health present at the event. This will allow you the chance to have your voices and opinions heard by some of those in a position to effect change!

This will be an open debate and attendees will be given the opportunity to voice their opinions and ideas.

Book your tickets soon to avoid disappointment as there are limited spaces available.

The event takes place in the school half term so you can attend!
